Crimson Church Management System (CMS) is a hosted web-based customer relationship model designed to manage church membership, financial contributions, physical and monetary donations, ministries or fellowships or departments, and visitors' data. The application serves as an information panel to query members and their dependent children. Crimson is a central source of information that can be used for church planning and growth management.

How does Crimson CMS allow members to feel seen, supported, and connected?
Crimson CMS includes a Mobile Outreach Tool (MOT) component that allows members to submit prayer requests confidentially (only users authorized to log into Crimson CMS directly and are also pastors or others designated as “people who pray for others” can see prayer requests). Prayer requests can be submitted anonymously, if desired.
The Mobile Outreach Tool keeps members informed of events and allows them to read the pastor’s weekly or monthly outreach messages anytime and anywhere.
What makes Crimson CMS different?

Is there a limit to how many members I add to Crimson CMS?
No. There is no restriction on the number of members you can add to Crimson CMS.

Does Crimson CMS work with Windows or Apple?
Yes. You can be on a Windows, Apple, Android, Linux, or any other computer system and access Crimson CMS with only your web browser.
Do I need the Internet to use Crimson?
Yes. Crimson CMS is a Software as a Service (SaaS) tool and is therefore a web-based application. You need Internet access and a web browser.
Will everyone in my church or religious organization have access?
No. Only those authorized to administer, monitor membership or financial activities, or provide pastoral care to your congregation will have direct access to log into Crimson CMS.
What functions does Crimson CMS provide?
Crimson CMS provides 4 functionalities through the following roles and can allow multiple persons to be in each role.
Administrators (responsible for managing the system and have all permissions. Eg. Church Administrator, Business Manager, Secretary)
Member Admin (permissions are restricted to adding and updating member info. Eg. Membership Committee)
Finance Admin (permissions are restricted to adding and updating member pledges, payments, and donations. Eg. Finance Committee)
Auditor (permissions allow these people to see everything but they are unable to add or change anything. Eg. Pastors)
With so many users, how can I tell who performed certain actions?
Crimson CMS promotes accountability by including an Audit Trail Report. Only Administrators & Auditors can review the Audit Trail Report. This feature allows the Administrator or Auditor to review any individual user’s activities within a selectable date range. Viewing the Audit Trail report is also tracked and logged.
Do members use Crimson CMS directly?
Yes, members can access Crimson CMS through the Mobile Outreach Tool (MOT). The MOT does not require a login and is separate from the user interface (UI) used by those authorized to log into and manage Crimson CMS.
What is the Crimson Mobile Outreach Tool (MOT)?
The Crimson MOT is a component of the Crimson Church Management System that is designed to provide pertinent information to all members and keep them informed of the church or religious organization’s planned activities. It also retains some analytics of which pages within the MOT were visited but does not identify the visitors.
What is the benefit of using the Crimson MOT?
The Crimson MOT provides each member access to the following:
Pastoral Message - Message from the spiritual leader. Eg. Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, etc…
Church News - News articles including a single image
Upcoming Events - Schedule of special programs. Eg. Easter Egg Hunt
Regular Worship Schedule - Schedule of regular services & activities
Scripture Readings - Scripture readings. Eg. Weekly, Monthly, etc…
Biblical Theme - Weekly, Monthly, or Annual and monthly themes
Leaders’ Contact Information - Preferred contact methods and times for reaching leaders. Eg. Music Minister’s contact info, Pastor’s contact info
Accepts Prayer Requests - Allows members to submit prayer requests confidentially - with the option to remain anonymous - and is reviewable only by the pastors or designees

No. Crimson CMS tracks financial information based on what is entered. The system does not accept or process payments; therefore no credit card information is stored, processed, or associated with any activities.
Is Customer Support/Care available?
Yes. Within Crimson CMS is an Incident Management sub-system that can be used to alert the Customer Support or Technical Support teams that you need help. This Incident Management screen can be used to get help, request new features, or make suggestions for improvement.
Are there any additional charges for Customer Support?
No. Your investment in Crimson CMS includes Customer Support as long as you are an active customer.
Is Crimson CMS being improved constantly?
Yes. Whenever a warning or error occurs, the Technical Support team is informed immediately. This allows us to identify and fix issues before they become problems.
