A financial pledge in a church is a member’s voluntary commitment to give a specific amount of money over a set period (usually a year) to support the church’s ministries, operations, and outreach. It is not a legal contract, but a spiritual and practical promise that helps the church plan its budget and mission. Crimson CMS records pledges on a ‘per year’ basis.
The system provides a way for the Finance Admin to get an understanding of all pledges from all members in a single place. The resulting list is viewable on screen and also can be downloaded into a .CSV file. The .CSV format is a well known format that is compatible with just about any spreadsheet program/software.
This video demonstrates how to view the pledges summary for all members.
